1. Measure a ring you already wear

This is the most reliable method. Take a ring that fits the finger you have in mind, lay it flat, and measure the inside diameter across the widest point in millimetres. Match that number to the table below.

2. Measure your finger

Wrap a strip of paper or a piece of string snugly around the base of your finger. Mark where it overlaps, lay it flat against a ruler, and read the length in millimetres. That is your circumference.

Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are at their largest, and at room temperature. Cold fingers can read a full size smaller.

3. Ask us

A note on wide bands

Wide or heavily textured rings sit tighter than thin ones. If the band you are ordering is 8 mm or wider, consider going up half a size.

Design and symbolism

The lion has long represented courage, leadership and inner power. Here, the animal’s face is built as a dimensional signet sculpture, with the mane flowing into the body of the ring.

Each ring is cast in solid gold, then filed, polished and finished by hand to bring out the relief and character of the lion. Small variations in surface detail are part of the handmade process.

I purchased the 18k gold version and it is beautiful!! Picture below does not do the ring justice. The finer details on the lions face is a bit obscured, because 18k gold is polished up nicely and shines bright. I also received free engraving on the ring which was very considerate of the artist!
